The FuelEU Pool Tool evaluates FuelEU Maritime compliance costs and pooling strategies across your fleet. It calculates the GHG intensity of each ship's energy mix, compares it against the FuelEU targets per year, and determines whether a ship generates a penalty or a compliance credit. Where ships in a pool collectively meet the target, excess credits from one ship can offset deficits in another, reducing the total cost. The tool covers the full analysis period from 2025 to 2050, aligned with the stepwise tightening of FuelEU GHG intensity targets.
